Lucknow: New courses will now be started in Dr. Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University as per the demand of the market. Every department will prepare its own academic calendar. To get into the NIRF ranking, the university will prepare on the basis of its standards. This instruction was given by Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Singh. He was addressing a meeting with the Deans and Heads of Departments of all the faculties of the university.
In the meeting, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Singh instructed that every department should start new diploma, PG diploma and certificate courses as per the need of time, society, market and department. A one-year, three-year and five-year action plan related to academic and research should be made in every faculty and department operating under it. While reviewing the academic calendar, the syllabus, examination, evaluation and result should be released in a timely manner. The Vice Chancellor also instructed every department to release an academic activity calendar.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Singh also instructed to show the answer sheets to the students after evaluation at the departmental level. He said that every department will have to prepare a course folder as per the plan of the syllabus and send it to the Vice Chancellor.
Every teacher will prepare a project. Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Singh said that every department will have to decide in which direction the research should be done. Every teacher of the university will have to prepare a project for research and development at the departmental level.
